Rev. Kenneth J. Dale, Ph.D.
Kenneth J. Dale served for his entire career as a missionary teacher of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in Japan. As a professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling he founded the Personal Growth and Counseling Center in Tokyo, which was a pioneer project in this field and has proved successful in training counselors and carrying out a ministry of holistic healing for more than 25 years.
Marian Brown, Ph.D.
Marian Brown manages the Measurement & Evaluation Section of Southern California Edison’s Energy Efficiency Programs Division. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Claremont School of Theology and a past lay leader of Claremont United Methodist Church, which hosts some of The Clinebell Institute’s clinical offices.
Rev. Ellen Livingston
Ellen Livingston is a minister emerita of the Monte Vista Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Montclair, California. She served as senior minister there for nineteen years, before which she served ten years as a minister in Park Forest, Illinois. Ellen is interested in the area of pastoral counseling and has been active on the Board of The Clinebell Institute for six years. She also serves on the Inland Hospice Board, the Pomona Inland Valley Shelter, and is a graduate of the Perkins School of Religion at Southern Methodist University. Ellen completed training in Clinical Pastoral Education and Mediation.
Rosemary Henderson, Chair of the Board of Directors
Rosemary Henderson has degrees from both the University of Texas and the University of Kansas. She taught at both the high school and the elementary levels and is now retired. Her husband, Homer D. (Butch) Henderson, is a retired pastor with standing in both the United Church of Christ and the United Methodist Church. They have two married children and five grandchildren. Rosemary is actively involved in a variety of community organizations.
